Our Story
Elite Nutrition began in 2011 when Kenny and Rhoda Graber purchased a small supplement company. Kenny and his extended family partner to raise Standardbred
horses for the Indiana racing program. He wanted one of the products that the company manufactured for their brood mares and weanlings. That product is now known as our Ultra Guard. So that is one of our flagship products and on the people side it is the Micro Life. Over the years, the team and product line has grown. Elite Nutrition now has over 30 employees with over 100 different products between the equine, canine, livestock and people supplements. There is also a feed line. We have teamed up with over 20 feed mills across the country to manufacture those feeds.
Elite Nutrition is also the nations largest distributor of the JOY Dog Food line. This was a nice fit to add to the other feed. All of this keeps us very busy, not to mention, the other ventures like the Therapy Barn and Training Center. This growth has been spurred by listening to our customers! Thank you for your continued support and continued shared ideas! We all work together to bring animals and people into better health.

Yoder Brothers Feed
To get the dish you have to travel back with me to the Fall of 2016. Adam Yoder had a stallion named Shady Lawn Halifax. They just called him Halifax. He is a Saddlebred Dutch horse. Adam also had a feed mix he called Yoder Brothers Feed. Adam and his brothers had been prepping and selling horses for many years under the name LLAMs Harness Horses. He started working with Elite Nutrition to add some more nutrition to his feed mix. They added the Horse Plus into his feed and changed to Non GMO grains. As his horses in the barn started eating the new mix, Shady Lawn Halifax was included. After a few months on the new feed mix, the t ime for Stallion Presentations were upon them. Adam was so impressed by his incredibly soft and velvety coat along with some serious muscle tone. Halifax traveled and performed very well. As time has passed, Adam and Elite Nutrition have went on to make many different horse products. We fondly remember those early days and think of Halifax. So it just made sense that he would be on the feed bag as the “star” that started it all. Halifax was born at Shady Lawn Stables which is owned by Richard Yoder, who now also works with Elite Nutrition. He is still standing at stud and Richard had the opportunity to prep Halifax last fall to sell.
